Our beliefs

The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the 66 books of the Bible, in the original languages, is the inspired, infallible, and sole authoritative Word of God. Written by men, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, every scripture is God-breathed, serving as our final authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We believe the Scriptures are preserved accurately and are relevant for every generation. •Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is co-equal, co-eternal, and possesses the same divine nature, attributes, and perfections. •Scripture References: Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

God the father

God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all knowing, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all men. • Scripture References: Genesis 1:1, John 4:23-24 Romans 8:14-15

God the son

We believe that Jesus was fully man and fully God. We affirm His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent, personal return in power and glory. •Scripture References: John 1:1-2, 14, Philippians 2:5-11

God the holy spirit

We believe Holy Spirit is a distinct person in the trinity. God the Holy Spirit brings inward renewal to the believer, evidenced by the fruit of the spirit, spiritual understanding, conviction of sin, reveals the truth of God's word, brings assurance of salvation, empowers for holy living, teaches, and comforts. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12 are still active in the church. These gifts manifest at the will of Holy Spirit for the common good. •Scripture References: John 15:26, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Galatians 5:22-23

Salvation and grACE

We believe that salvation is found exclusively through faith in Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the cross. Because humanity is fallen and spiritually dead in sin, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation. It is a free gift of grace, received through repentance and personal faith, not by human works. •Scripture References: Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10

Water baptism and communion

We believe in the ordinances established by Jesus Christ for His Church: Water Baptism: The immersion of professed believers in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, serving as a public declaration of our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ. The Lord's Supper: Holy Communion as a remembrance of Christ's suffering and death, an expression of our current unity in Him, our unity in the church, and a declaration of Jesus' future return. Communion is open to all believers who profess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. • Scripture References: Matthew 28:19 (Baptism), 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (Communion)

The church

We believe that the Church is the living Body of Christ on earth, composed of all true believers. The primary mission of the Church is the Great Commission: to go into all the world, preach the Gospel, and make disciples of all nations. •Scripture References: Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 1:22-23

Eternity

We believe in a real Heaven and a real Hell. Those who are saved through faith in Christ will be raised to eternal life. Those who reject Jesus Christ will experience eternal separation from God •Scripture References: John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:11-15

Marriage, Gender, and Family

We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, exclusively joining one biological man and one biological woman in a lifelong, exclusive union. We believe that God creates each person as male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. Any sexual expression outside the boundaries of Biblical marriage is contrary to God's design. We affirm the family as a foundational institution of society, meant to nurture children in the love, discipline, and instruction of the Lord. •Scripture References: Genesis 1:27, Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:21-33

tithing and stewardship

We believe that everything we own belongs to God, and we are called to be faithful stewards of His resources. We affirm that the tithe (the first ten percent of our income) belongs to the Lord and is to be brought joyfully into the local church to support the ministry, preach the Gospel, and care for those in need. Beyond the tithe, we believe in giving freewill offerings as an act of worship, gratitude, and faith. • Scripture References: Malachi 3:10, Matthew 25:14-30, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

women in ministry

We believe that men and women are created equal in value, dignity, and spiritual inheritance, yet are given distinct roles in the family and the Church. We joyfully recognize and affirm the vital ministry of women, who are uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit to preach, evangelize, prophesy, teach, and lead within the Body of Christ. In accordance with Biblical patterns of spiritual authority, we recognize that the governing pastoral oversight and eldership of the local church is uniquely entrusted to qualified men. We honor and empower women to fully thrive in their callings while maintaining Biblical order. •Scripture References: Galatians 3:28, 1 Timothy 2:12-14

End times

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
